Minicom Digital Signage and Remote Media to Present Joint

Zurich, Switzerland (April 3rd, 2009) – Minicom Digital Signage, the leader in “last mile” player-to-screen connectivity solutions, along with Remote Media, the company behind signagelive, the award winning SaaS Digital Signage platform, will be presenting a joint application at Screenmedia Expo Europe 2009 taking place on April 7th - 8th at the National Hall, Olympia, London.

Minicom and Remote Media will be jointly deploying a digital signage application stretching from the signagelive ceiling to Minicom’s booth. The signagelive booth will host media players containing signagelive software and Minicom distribution systems. A CAT5 cable will then run across the convention floor all the way to the Minicom’s booth where displays fitted with Minicom receivers will display the high definition content. Expo visitor’s are invited to check out the application and see for themselves what power digital signage solutions can do for their business. Minicom’s exhibition booth is located right at the Expo entrance at booth E02 while the signagelive booth is D01.

Ronni Guggenheim, CEO of Minicom Digital Signage, says the partnership between Remote Media and Minicom Digital Signage is no coincidence. “When two highly dynamic Digital Signage companies join forces the natural result is more holistic solutions to the Digital Signage / DOOH marketplace. Our solutions, which are deployed together in numerous rollouts, combine the benefits of leading powerful signage software with the best of class last mile extension and distribution solutions.”

Jason Cremins, CEO of Remote Media, says the joint application will show how proper components can both significantly improve digital signage networks and lower costs. “We are delighted to collaborate with Minicom Digital Signage at Screenmedia Expo to demonstrate a total solution for distributed Digital Signage. Both Minicom and signagelive are pioneers in the Digital Signage sector and through ‘hands-on’ demonstration of an entire Digital Signage Network at Screenmedia Expo, we can show end-user and resellers how choosing the right components will result in a cost-effective and reliable Digital Signage solution.”

Minicom will also be presenting three of its industry leading products at the show: the award winning DS Vision® 3000 distribution system, DS Vision® HDMI and the brand new VGA extender. In addition, Minicom in conjunction with Screenmedia Expo, is offering free tours of the entire show from an agnostic source. To participate in this free tour participants are requested to sign up at the following web address www.minicomdigitalsignage.com/requestevent.cfm
