Young Furniture Attends Annual Architectural Digest Event

NEW YORK – March 26, 2009 – Young Furniture will be exhibiting its line of premium unfinished cabinetry and furniture at the 8th annual Architectural Digest Home Design Show held at Pier 94 in New York City.

Young Furniture, a Bow, N.H.-based manufacturer of pine, maple and poplar cabinetry, will join nearly 300 other companies at the show. The show, which will be held from March 26 to March 29, will also feature design seminars and cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs.

Young Furniture offers handcrafted cabinets and furniture for commercial and residential applications. Nothing is mass produced. Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, Young Furniture has been a strong proponent of responsible forestry and green manufacturing practices. In 2007, the cabinet manufacturer became certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

Registered interior designers and architects will be allowed to enter for free on Thursday, March 26; two forms of businesses credentials are required. VIP consumer admission is available for $95, which includes a yearlong subscription to Architectural Digest.

Friday through Sunday, anyone will be able to attend for $25. Tickets will be available at the door and online. The show will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
