Pressure Switches with Integrated Connectors

SUCO, the leading specialist for mechanical pressure monitoring products, has enhanced its product portfolio with a new series of pressure switches with fully integrated connector varieties.

Until now, SUCO has already offered a membrane-/ piston pressure switch with an integrated bayonet connector (DIN 72585) known as type 0120 / 0121. This product range will now be expanded with the addition of double-pole and triple-pole Deutsch-Connectors, AMP Superseal, AMP Junior Timer and Packard Metri Pack. SUCO also offers the counterparts to these con-nectors with a standardised cable length of 2 meters.

The usage of these kinds of pressure switches will considerably reduce assembly time, since the connection can be activated by a simple turning movement or by fastening the components together and latching them afterwards. The basis of these “integrated pressure switches” are the million times proved mechanical pressure switch types 0166 and 0163 (for technical specifi-cations see www.suco.de), in which the higher sealing protection of the IP 67 standard (de-pending on connector) can be guaranteed.

The complete new cost-effective product range will be presented for the first time at the
Hannover Fair 2009.

Centrifugal clutches and brakes are used when input and output side should be separated during a standstill and the output side should work speed-dependant. Advantages of centrifugal clutches are load-free starting and slip-free torque transmission at operating speed. Centrifugal brakes are often used as emergency braking system. They can lower or slow down loads at a defined speed.

Electromagnetic clutches and brakes from SUCO are notable for straightforward design and ease of installation. Like centrifugal clutches, electromagnetic clutches and brakes can only be used for dry running. Reliable torque transmission without residual torque is guaranteed.
