Cappuccino CPIS – Hightech for smart cruise passengers
Hamburg, 03.04.2006 -- The hamburg situated Company CappuccinoSoft presents its newest project 'Cappuccino CPIS' for cruiselines, hotels and resorts. The cruise passenger information system (CPIS) enables cruiseline-companies and cruise-organizers to give their passengers a never seen service and to get valueable informations for customer relationship management and cusomer care.Cappuccino CPIS joins information-, entertainment-, Booking- and navigationsystems also as photogalleries. Boardrestaurants and shops can make very specific offers to their guests and customers. Passengers can compile their own individual music-channel, select a chanel from a list of hundreds of channels, rent a video over the network, get information about the actual position and navigate to different locations on board. Cappuccino CPIS gives passengers the chance to get information about the next landjaunts, to plan them and to book them. Information is also served about museums, restaurants, the actual weather and much more at the outing places.
On the technical side, Cappuccino CPIS consists of a central serversystem on board of the ship, where all music, videos and information will be hosted. Access to the system will be enabled via touchpanels (in cabins) and kiosksystems. Videoentertainment will be served via LCD- or plasmamonitors. Kiosksystems in the sections on board can inform the passenger about the way to specific points, or his cabin.
In combination with a RFID-Chip it is possible to offer free and purchased services, to account them and to transmit data to CRM systems for enhenced customer care. Integration of Cappuccino CRM or other CRM-Tools, is also possible. Passengers can share their digital photographs and videos with other passengers and select them to send an DVD-burning order to a shop on board. So valueable memories from the cruise and events can be won from the cameras of other people.
To get news from all over the world, around 5.000 news-channels are served. Passengers can select some of them and then the selected channels will be downloaded to the serversystem. This way all passengers can access them via the entertainmentsystem, without the need to download them via expensive sattelite-channels everytime when a user will read them. As additional service, a passenger can get a complete workstation with office-software and network-access.
Cappuccino CPIS sets new standards in the tourism and can be set in also in hotels and resorts with the focus on the passenger / guest, that he feels fine and will come back.
Optimal customer care during the journey and thereafter, is guaranteed this way.
Cappuccino CPIS is available in different setups and will be customized to the specific needs of every ship, hotel or resort.
