Indonesia stock photo service PIXAMOLA launches
PIXAMOLA, a royalty free Indonesian stock photography site, has been launched offering 100% locally sourced images.Meet the new kid on the block: PIXAMOLA. The new go-to for Indonesian stock photography.
Sourcing true-to-life stock photography of Indonesian people and places just became a whole lot easier.
The newly launched PIXAMOLA was founded by Rade Tampubolon (co-founder of SociaBuzz, an influencer marketing platform) who saw a gaping hole in the market for genuine Indonesian images.
It’s a home-grown game-changer for the Indonesian graphic design and advertising industries that will transform the way Indonesians buy stock photography, all whilst supporting local photographers and content creators.
The PIXAMOLA library is the first 100% Indonesian, 100% independent stock photo library offering authentic imagery – all shot by thousands of photographers and content creators from all over the country.
PIXAMOLA is the brain child of SociaBuzz, an influencer marketing platform connecting brands with content creators to create word-of-mouth marketing.
The founders’ experience in branding and marketing over the past 10 years has given them a clear understanding of what Indonesian designers and marketers are looking for, and what has been missing in the stock photography scene.
“Over the years we have seen a growing trend toward authenticity, and it’s impossible to be authentic when you’re using off-shore imagery – Indonesian consumers just don’t buy it. There’s definitely been a gap in the market,” Rade said.
Rade is a particularly strong believer in quality over quantity. “Each shot is carefully selected so our search results produce beautiful, relevant content that is uniquely and quintessentially Indonesian," he said.
“Every photographer and content creator invited to join the PIXAMOLA community bring their own perspective on Indonesian culture, so there’s something for everyone.”
“This is a carefully curated collection with an Indonesian audience in mind,” Rade added.
