Quantix, one of the UK’s leading Database & Applications support service providers, has picked up the top prize of ‘Oracle Technology Partner of the Year’ at the annual Oracle Partner awards. The ceremony was held on the 12th March at the Landmark Hotel in London and showcases leading Oracle Partners from across the UK.

The ‘Oracle Technology Partner of the Year’ award was one of the top prizes of the evening and is given to the Oracle Partner who has demonstrated innovation, revenue growth and a successful business proposition. In choosing them for this award Oracle judges recognised Quantix’s success in delivering innovative solutions and achieving strong customer success using Oracle technology.

Alan Hartwell, Vice President. Technology Solutions and Channels, Oracle UK stated:

“I’d like to offer huge congratulations to Quantix. They have demonstrated truly innovative solutions and are a great example of a company that has thought outside the box to bring true business value for customers. The Oracle Partner Network strives to provide support, services and expertise that help our partners succeed and Quantix has leveraged these elements to accelerate their business. We are proud to be involved with Quantix and wish them the greatest success for the future.”

Quantix is an Oracle Support provider and Systems Integrator with skills that bridge Oracle Database, Oracle Middleware and Oracle E-Business Suite technologies. In particular it specialises in providing specialist consultancy skills, enhanced systems resilience and cost savings via a unique range of Oracle Managed Services.

Since an MBO in 2007 Quantix has been backed by ISIS Private Equity and seen both revenues and profits grow substantially year on year, leading to current year forecasts of almost £10m and £2m respectively – this growth has been matched by investments in staff and technology, both of which now underpin its database and applications contract base of almost £5m.

Dick Salmon, Managing Director of Quantix commented:

“I am delighted to see Quantix recognised as the best Oracle Technology Partner in 2009. It is a fitting tribute to our highly experienced Sales and Services teams and shows our strength within the Oracle Partner Network.”

Simon Goodenough, Sales Director of Quantix, picked up the award on the night and commented:

“We have a number of awards over the last few years but becoming ‘Oracle Technology Partner of the Year’ is probably the one that we are most pleased with. Not only does it recognise the substantial revenue growth we have achieved in recent years but it also acknowledges our achievements in creating an Oracle Services Practice that we and our clients believe is second to none.”
