G2G3 launches groundbreaking Business Continuity simulation

Press release from: G2G3

G2G3, (g2g3.com), the leading provider of business simulations and readiness programs, today announced the launch of Phoenix, a revolutionary Business Continuity simulation. Phoenix is launched as industry interest increases driven largely by regulatory pressures as well as recent natural disasters which highlighted the vulnerability of many businesses across the globe.
This exciting simulation brings to life the increasing threats faced by organizations today and addresses significant challenges faced by organizations looking to implement Business Continuity Management (BCM) including gaining buy-in, implementing best practice standards such as BS 25999 and adhering to compliance and corporate governance.
The announcement from G2G3 comes as the Business Continuity Institute launches Business Continuity Awareness Week 2009 (www.thebci.org). Business Continuity Awareness week aims to encourage business continuity managers to raise awareness with colleagues and clients and show the growing importance of BCM as an integral management tool.
G2G3 developed Phoenix in collaboration with Business Continuity experts, Pracius (www.pracius.com). Pracius is a dynamic business consulting firm which provides detailed Continuity Planning for Crisis Management, Business Continuity, Emergency/Incident Planning and Disaster Recovery. Based on the marketing leading expertise of both organizations, Phoenix challenges participants, following a major continuity incident, with taking a business from a state of emergency to recovery of its mission critical business processes, personnel and facilities.

This unique learning approach has been developed using realistic scenarios which participants can directly relate to and creates rapid realization of the catastrophic consequences of poor BCM and why it is essential that BCM is considered a mission-critical function and not simply an afterthought.

Mark Ross Sutherland, CEO at G2G3, commented: “Business Continuity is a very serious issue for all organizations today. It is quite alarming how many businesses are of the opinion 'why spend money on something that may never happen' and also how many businesses fail to recover quickly. One of the key benefits of Phoenix is that it is extremely powerful in changing such attitudes. Participants very quickly understand why BCM should be regarded as a strategic business function.”

Gus Macfarlane, Managing Director at Pracius added: "In today's ever challenging economic environment organizations are looking for ways to reduce costs whilst maintaining quality and continuity of delivery. Our simulation delivers just that, exercise your business awareness and understanding in a fast track low cost simulation. This simulation delivers not only leadership experience but also passes on a wealth of knowledge and understanding of contingency planning to all levels of the organization in a controlled environment."

Further information on the Phoenix simulation is available at www.g2g3.com or email info@g2g3.com.
