Reldata IP Storage Gateway 9200 is 'Designed for Windows XP'
Parsippany, April 3, 2006, Reldata Inc., the leading provider of enterprise-class unified IP SAN/NAS storage gateways, announced today that its Reldata IP Storage Gateway 9200 has been certified by Microsoft® Corp.’s WHQL team as a hardware "Designed for Windows® XP". The certification assures compatibility of the Reldata 9200 with the Microsoft® Windows® XP operating system. Particularly, it means that the Reldata 9200 is compatible with the latest Microsoft® iSCSI initiator driver used for connecting disk, tape and media changer storage devices over IP, and with the Microsoft®’s iSNS server, used for discovering iSCSI enabled storage devices.

With the IP Storage Gateway 9200, Reldata is dedicated to providing a unified, open, vendor-independent cross-platform solution for block-level iSCSI and file-level CIFS and NFS storage networking services within a distributed IP environment of a modern enterprise. Multi-Path I/O (MPIO) in Microsoft® iSCSI initiator to increase reliability and throughput of the IP SAN;
CIFS file sharing for Microsoft® Windows® clients and servers, including Windows® 2000, Windows® 2003, Windows® XP, and Windows NT®;
Seamless connectivity with large, enterprise-level Windows® 2000/2003 Active Directory® Services (ADS) environments, as well as Windows® NT domains with trust relationships;
Access Control List (ACL) support with a dynamic Active Directory user and group lookup capability;
IPsec encryption for effective in-flight protection of the iSCSI- and CIFS data..
