Oplayo Announces partnership OMMS Launch in USA & 8 more countries in Latin America with Wap Oneline USA
The new mobile video service will be available thru different Off-Portal websites and carriers in the region, e.g. via http://www.MyCoolMobile.com , http://MiCoolMovil.com and http://www.Movil.com.co .
Wap Oneline USA & Oplayo have built during the last months a connection between Oplayo’s video content hosting ASP solution and Wap Oneline’s Mobilenator content management, billing and storefront solution in order to serve end users via different Premium SMS tariffs.
Oplayo has currently over 3,000 video clips in its library and serves those in 21 so-called profiles. The profiles consist of short, medium and longer versions of 3GPP and various Java video formats (vidlets). Through this combination of industry standards and state of the art technologies service providers are able to reach over a billion handsets worldwide.
Tim Saarela (CEO of Wap Oneline USA) said: “Mobile video is a very attractive market. We have developed the mobile content market in many countries to the point that it is ready for mobile video. This segment needs special attention in terms of innovative solutions with easy handling for the end-consumer. Mobile subscribers can easily receive a wide variety of video clips in categories such as Entertainment & News, Cartoons & Animations, Sports & Hobbies, Comedy & Fun, Greetings and Fashion & Health onto their phone on and they can choose a subscription model or pay as you go model.
