Kapolyi Law Firm welcomes new Partner and senior associate

Kapolyi Law Firm, member of the European Law Firm alliance, further expands team with two lawyers starting from September, 2017.
Sándor Habóczky and Péter Gullai arrive from the same international law firm.

The past seven and a half years dr. Sándor Habóczky has been acting as a partner of the Budapest office of Schoenherr. He was heading the real estate, regulatory/energy as well as the litigation/dispute resolution practices. Through these years, he has gained significant experience with complex real estate transactions, e.g. office, retail, hotel and logistics investments and developments as well as with real estate aspects of numerous M&A deals – his knowledge and skills are also mentioned and recognized by the international legal directories Legal500 and Chambers & Partners. Sándor was previously acting as a leading partner of a Budapest law firms’ association, primarily assisting a set of domestic private investors, where he joined following a period of more than five years spent as M&A lawyer with the Hungarian office of Baker & McKenzie.

Dr. Péter Gullai has been working for Schoenherr in Sándor’s team from 2015. During this period he mainly assisted regulatory, energy law and real estate mandates. Earlier he was acting in the legal departments of a significant real property developer, ELMŰ-ÉMÁSZ and MKB Bank, respectively. He qualifies as author of numerous articles and analyses in the fields of energy and real estate laws.
