US Politics World: Presidential Contender Spotted in High-Powered Hollywood Meeting

Beverly Hills / Los Angeles – March 26, 2006 - Observed by ongoers, 2008 Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato was seen at one of Hollywood’s hotspots, Wolfgang Puck’s Spago’s in Beverly Hills.

What was unknown to onlookers was the subject of the meeting. Some may speculate that Imperato is trying to build political ties in Hollywood, which is quickly becoming disenchanted with out of touch Democrats such as Hillary Clinton.

Others have speculated that Imperato, a global businessman, is entering the world of film with the promotion of his soon to be produced film, The Red Worm, which has already garnered media attention before its first day of shooting.

Also seen at the meeting, was production executive, Julio Herza, who has a long standing friendship with Viacom and CBS Corporation Chairman Sumner Redstone. Coincidentally enough, both Redstone and Imperato share the same birthplace, Boston, MA.

Additionally, Hollywood director Marty Eli Schwarz was identified as showing up to the meeting between Imperato and Herza. Schwarz is well known from his directing experience in such TV shows as Miami Vice and Baywatch, and feature films such as The Pink Panther, Taxi, and the box-office smash Cheaper By the Dozen.

Is a major Viacom or studio deal in the works? Or are major fundraising and political alliances being formed for this rising 2008 Presidential Candidate?

It has been suggested by many political pundits that an independent candidate will need at least $100 million to be a significant candidate for the 2008 Presidential race. Utilizing his big business ties, it looks like Imperato is doing just that.

However, Imperato is also in the middle of producing a major motion picture on behalf of the Imperiali Organization, www.imperiali.org , which looks to require an equal budget to his presidential campaign.
