TwenteFlex™ the latest innovation in spiral belt technology from Twentebelt

Twentebelt makes its entrance onto the spiral market by introducing a completely new spiral belt design. With the elimination of welded joints as key element this patented design holds several improvements on the existing technology regarding durability, cleanability and efficiency. The TwenteFlex™ will be presented for the first time to the general audience at the Anuga FoodTec.

Increasing efficiency
The revolutionary 180° bending of the cross rod and its lock into the connection link will increase production efficiency by eliminating the major reasons for belt failure dealt with by existing technology. Weld breakage, cross rod breakage (next to the weld), sharp welds and tented inside links are no longer a threat for process continuity. Besides solving these common belt problems the specific smooth side finishing of the TwenteFlex™ also forms the ideal drive surface with respect to the cage bar and wear strips.

Hygienic in use and easy to maintain
TwenteFlex™ is purpose designed for the demanding applications in the food processing industry. By eliminating welded joints the TwenteFlex™ has no dead-end cavities, preventing possible hygiene threats. The absence of welds also prevents the necessity of pickling and passivating, a time intensive and expensive process. The open structure of the belt and its components makes the TwenteFlex™ easy to clean and hygienic in use.

Durable construction
Compared with a welded link the construction of the TwenteFlex™ has a higher, constant quality which can be accurately reproduced and is therefore more reliable and durable. By bending instead of welding the stainless steel retains its characteristic qualities which leads to a stronger belt and increasing service life.
All the advantages just add up to easier sanitation, less belt failure and an extended life span which ultimately improves process efficiency.

Introduced at the Anuga FoodTec
The TwenteFlex™ will be introduced, along Twentebelts entire program of metal conveyor belts, at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne (Germany) from March 10 - 13, in hall 10.1 stand F011. Twentebelt would like to invite all interested visitors to discuss their present requirements of belting.
