Exclusive Interview with Kris Kourtis by Lara Spencer.

Lara: Hi Kris how are you?

Kris: I'm doing good thanks for having me.

Lara: You are welcome. Now I want start off with asking you about your song Together. What made you want to write this song?

Kris: Well Lara this song just came to me.
The lyrics are not for anyone in particular.
I wrote this song when I was feeling low and then recorded it in Dubai.

Lara: In your radio shows you keep talking about fame. Why is that?

Kris: I've been obssesed with fame ever since I saw the Mariah Carey Madison Square garden concert tape. Every day after school.
I would watch the tape. She is the reason I wanted to become famous.

Lara: Are you still obssesed with fame?

Kris: Yes and no. Fame brings no happiness.
But when you are incredibly Famous like President Trump you have a powerful voice and you can change things. Make the world a better place.

Lara: Who do you aspire to be famous like?

Kris: That's easy. Madonna. Because she is so confident and everyone listens to her.

Lara: Now we know that you are gay from releases you made to the press.
Where do you stand for when it comes to the LGBT community?

Kris: Well. My dream is to make gay marriage legal everywhere. Make it illegal for schools and universities to bully gay people. And Equal rights for gay couples to have the same health insurance as straight couples.

Lara: Who are your Celebrity crushes?
Anyone in particular?

Kris: I have always been in Love with Josh Duhamel. I have a crush on Drake and Billie Joe Armstrong from Green Day.

Lara: Why is it that you don't sing anymore?

Kris: Smoking ruined my vocal cords. So I lost my voice.

Lara: Who are your biggest inspirations?

Kris: Ahhm, my parents.
My father and mother
keep me grounded. They are the happiest couple I've ever seen. And that is why I believe in true love and soulmates.
And also someone who inspires me is Oprah. To have a Talk show like her's and change people's lives is so rewarding.

Lara: What is your favorite color?

Kris: Purple.

Lara: Favorite Cuisine?

Kris: Thai food.

Lara: Favorite movies?

Kris: The Proposal. And all Wes Craven's horror movies. Like the scream franchise,
Freddy Krueger. And all his other movies.

Lara: Favorite hobby?

Kris: Scuba diving.

Lara: Favorite music and singers?

Kris: Pop, ahhm r&b, soft rock.
I love Mariah, Madonna, Green Day,
the late Whitney Houston. Sean Paul.

Lara: You talk about spiritually on your shows.
And supernatural things.
What fascinates you about those things?

Kris: I remember the first magical movie I saw was Hocus Pocus. And from then on my mind became fascinated with magic, supernatural things and spirituality.

Lara: Who in your life is the person you look up to the most?

Kris: That's a tough one. Ahhhm.
My father for his work ethics.
And my mom for her very good advice.
From all the sellf Help books I've read, nothing compares to my mother.

Lara: In your Biography online it said you have 2 siblings. Clio and Alex. How close are they in your life?

Kris: My brother is 10 years younger than I am.
And my sister is 5 years younger.
I am very close to them we talk every day on the phone. My sister has 2 girls.
Zoey and Gabriella.
Zoey is literally the most beautiful toddler in the world. I'm her God father too. I love that baby so much.

Lara: Do you want children?

Kris Yes. But it's not for me. I can't be responsible for another human being.
It's too much stress on me.

Lara: Going back to supernatural things.
If you could have a power what would that be?

Kris: The power of resurgence.

Lara: What is that?

Kris: Google it.

Lara: I will but you tell me. What is resurgence?

Kris: It's the ability to bring someone back from the dead. Only 1 percent of the world has that. Some are witches.

Lara: Who would you like to bring back from the dead?

Kris: My grandmother Lilly. She was my best friend. When everything was bad in my life she made everything good again.
She used to spoil me rotten.
And always protected me from any dispute I had with my family.
The Only thing I regret is I never got to say goodbye.

Lara: To want her back you must have loved her very much. If you could talk to her right now what would you say to her?

Kris: First of all there is no If!
I talk to her daily.
My medium told me that she is always forever present in my life. Guiding me and protecting me.

Lara: That's great.
Moving to fashion. Who are your favorite designers?

Kris: I am not too much into clothes cause I am not thin. And I can't wear high couture. But from designers, I love Donatella Versace, Dior, Dolce and Gabbana.
I prefer jewelry and watches.
like Omega, Cartier, Graff, Fendi.

Lara: If you could meet anyone now who would it be? Past or Present.

Kris: Jesus.

Lara: How so?

Kris: I have private problems that I can't discuss publicly. I would love for him to heal me. Give me perfect and wealth. And I would love to just pass my days with him and witness all the miracles he did.

Lara: What did you mean by perfect health? Is there a health issue?

Kris: I can't answer that. Next topic.

Lara: I just have a few more questions. and then we will be done.

Kris: Alright.

Kris: What is your dream for the future?
anything you always wanted to have or do?

Kris: ooh yes. For 10 years I have been dreaming about building a Palace in The Hollywood Hills.
I always wanted to call the Palace Bridgington. I want 23 rooms. A spa, gym, 3 chefs, 10 house keepers. A triangle shaped pool.
Aahmm and all the bedrooms to be large and Oval. With a renaissance look to the house.

Lara: That is really beautiful and creative. What about what you want to do with your future?

Kris: I would love to be the main voice for UNICEF. Helping poor and underprivileged children is my ultimate dream.

Lara: Wow. those are all good things.
So if you were given let's say a billion dollars. What would you do with that money?

Kris: I would give half of it to my favourite charities. And the rest I would use for myself and my family.

Lara: Usually people would say, Lara I would buy jets, and houses and party all the time. But you seem to want to help people. Why?

Kris: To give is to receive. And I'm not a party person. I prefer having dinner with a group of close friends and having a movie night at my house. Plus I am a person who loves to gift people things because the look on someone else's face is priceless.

Lara: 2 more questions and we are done.
What advice would you like to give to radio hosts around the globe?

Kris: Good question. I went to Columbia Academy in Vancouver.
My advice is always know your material. Never over talk over a song. Never ever have dead air.
Be unique, have your own style of being a broadcaster and don't emulate any other broadcasters.

Lara: Final Question.

What bothers you the most?
And Do you consider yourself a Diva?

Kris: Wowwwow. Ok.
I hate waiting in line for anything.
I hate people talking behind my back.
I detest cheaters and backstabbers.

When it comes to being a Diva.
I like things done a certain way.
I am very demanding. And when I want something I want it straight away.
