International Arbitration

On 7th September 2017, Wolters Kluwer Hong Kong is organizing the above said International Arbitration Summit in Tokyo, which is to be attended by Corporate counsels and Arbitration Practitioners from that area. This event is an Annual International Arbitration Summit. Our Senior Partner Mr S Ravi Shankar is invited to speak in the said conference on “Managing Expert Witnesses in the Arbitration Process and Avoiding common problems”. This topic is very important in international Arbitration because of the increasing differences in the expert opinion between party appointed Experts. In large construction & infrastructure, technology and Oil & natural gas arbitration matters, the examination of expert witnesses has become a regular aspect. The relevance of the witness, reliability of the witness and the opinion of the witness along with the cross examination throws a lot of light on the disputed technical issues. Hence this is one of the very hot topics of the conference. On the same topic, along with Mr Shankar, Mr Mingchao Fan, Director, ICC, North Asia and Damien Mc Donald from fangda Partners are also speaking on the same topic.

Law Senate is a Professionally Managed Indian Law Firm, Providing Corporate and Personal Dispute resolution services including International Arbitration, Domestic Arbitration, Infrastructure & Construction Arbitration and related Litigation in Supreme Court of India & related services.
