Qsan P100C iSCSI GbE (X2)-to-SATA II RAID controller is designed and dedicated for SMB IP SAN solutions. With iSCSI nature and Qsan’s features, when IT administrators design storage solutions for SMB environments, Qsan P100C is an ideal replacement for DAS and has more flexibility for future planning. Comparing to SCSI DAS storage, P100C doesn’t need a HW HBA. And most OS support free iSCSI initiators, such as Windows and Linux. If this storage solution is designed for multiple servers / PCs access in the same time, iSCSI shows its advantages here, and Qsan P100C iSCSI RAID controller can support up 32 host connections in the same time on the existing network infrastructure. If higher performance, multiple connections and better management are required, an 8 port GbE switch costs less than a dual port SCSI HBA, and if more connections are required, a 24 port GbE Switch only costs a little more than a dual port SCSI HBA.
