Appointment of second Buenos Aires practice launches Russell Bedford Argentina national network

With the appointment of Marinozzi-Mazzitelli & Asociados as its second member firm in Buenos Aires, Russell Bedford International has taken the first step in the creation of a national network of accounting firms, Russell Bedford Argentina.

Marinozzi-Mazzitelli & Asociados (MM & Asoc.) was founded in 2006 by Gabriel Marinozzi and Esteban Mazzitelli. They were joined within six months by three further partners, Juan Bettinelli, Sebastian Martinez and Daniel Ryba. All the partners have backgrounds as managers in large international accounting and/or consulting groups, and they set out with the objective of replicating the types of work and quality standards of the big groups, combined with more personalised attention and more flexibility.

Gabriel Marinozzi was an audit manager at a Big-4 firm from 2003 to 2006, specialising in insurance, pensions and services. Before that, he had several years in auditing and management consulting with other large and medium-sized firms. In addition to audit and consulting, his specialist areas include corporate finance.

Prior to 2006, Esteban Mazzitelli had almost five years as an auditing and consulting services manager with a leading mid-tier firm in Spain, focusing on insurance and services. Previously, he was with a Big-5 firm for six years in auditing and management advisory services.

Juan Bettinelli was an audit manager at a Big-4 firm for some three years, specialising in insurance and pensions. His previous experience included five years in auditing and management consulting with a Big-5 firm, followed by a period in the management control function at an international insurance company.

Sebastian Martinez specialises in audit, consulting and corporate finance. Before joining MM & Asoc., he was financial director and financial manager at two leading insurance companies. And previously he worked for the Argentinean member of one of the Big-5 accounting groups.

Daniel Ryba is a consulting actuary, specialising in actuarial audit and consulting. Prior to 2006 he was the chief actuary in the Argentinean subsidiary of a leading international insurance company, and before that he was a consultant with a global firm of consulting actuaries and employment benefits consultants.

With offices located in the financial district of Buenos Aires, MM & Asoc. has more than 30 personnel and offers a range of services focusing on audit, management consulting, corporate finance and actuarial consultancy.

In joining Russell Bedford International, MM & Asoc. has become a joint member of the newly-launched Russell Bedford Argentina national network alongside the long-standing Buenos Aires member, Daniel Intile & Asoc. The two firms plan to work together to develop the national network to cover other important business locations in Argentina.
