aycan Medical Systems, our Rochester, NY-based US-office has installed it's first US aycan store PACS archive. Rural Radiology Consultants in Bemidji, MN reads for 7 remote hospitals in upstate Minnesota. aycan installed an Apple XServe with a 6 TB Promise RAID together with an Apple MacPro based aycan workstation OsiriX PRO at the customers site.

Dr. Hilton Bakker, Radiologist, and owner of Rural Radiology Consultants said: ”I have been through 3 other pacs planning and installation projects in the past, and the installation of aycan was an absolute joy. The best job I could have ever expected. I look forward to making OsiriX PRO/aycan the best pacs at a tenth of the cost of the "big companies”.
