World Food Expo 2017 Showcases Innovations in the Food Industry
Food is one of the things that bring people from different cultures together. As the world gets more connected through to the Internet, it is equally important to reconcile our differences and celebrate one of the things that make us human: our love for good food.
The World Food Expo (WOFEX) 2017 is a 4-day event from August 2-5, 2017 that will showcase products and services from major food and beverage suppliers, as well as new players in the food industry all around the world.
The biggest annual food show in the country will organize events that cater to chefs and culinary professionals. The Philippine Culinary Cup, endorsed by the World Association of Chef Societies (WACS), is where the best chefs from different countries showcase their cooking skills and get recognized by world renowned foreign judges.
WOFEX 2017 also hosts WOFEX University, Kitchen Theater, and World Food Summit, which are all educational programs that aim to enrich and inspire food service professionals with fresh content and valuable lessons in the market today.
The first three days of the event will be at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, while the WOFEX Marketplace at SMX Convention Center will feature side events available to the public, as well as a place to promote products and trade orders before the holiday rush.
About World Trade Center Manila: A member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) of New York, World Trade Center Metro Manila (WTCMM) is the first exhibition venue in the Philippines listed by the Union des Foires Internationales or UFI, the global association of the exhibition industry.
WTCMM has more than 30,760 sqm of gross floor area, consisting of 13,560 sqm of indoor space 11,300 sqm of contiguous indoor space at ground level, and over 17,000 sqm outdoor space.
