The Haymarket Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce it’s new “Chinatown Sydney Historical Walking Tour” launched in collaboration with izi.TRAVEL.

Whether you are a local Sydneysider aiming to get active and fit walking around Sydney or an exploring tourist looking for interesting places in Sydney, this is one app you must download. Discovering public art and hidden gems by foot is an incredible way to enjoy Chinatown Sydney & the Haymarket area. Available for FREE download on both Apple and Android, the izi.TRAVEL app is you own personal pocket tour guide.

All you have to do is type in the search function Chinatown Sydney, once you have downloaded the free izi.TRAVEL app and walk around Haymarket and Chinatown Sydney area. While the app is open on your phone, it will automatically recognise the site you are walking past and start telling you interesting and captivating stories. Getting to Chinatown and Haymarket is easy. You can walk from Central Station or Town Hall Station or take the light rail.

This incredible immersive audio walking tour takes approximately 28 minutes (1.4 km) and guides you with interesting tales and historical facts of 15 sites, the itinerary starting with the Golden Water Mouth and The Ceremonial Arches and ending with the Chinese Gardens of Friendship and the Capitol Theatre.
