Tim Verbeek Unveils The Next Steps For The Los Angeles Online Magazine LA2DAY.com

Tim Verbeek, Founder and CEO of LA2DAY.com recently revealed new features for the popular Los Angeles online magazine, as well as his plans for expansion into new markets.
As part of his occupational duties at LA2DAY.com, Verbeek leads a diverse 60-person staff of editors, writers, and reporters who work diligently together to contribute to the magazine's overall success. LA2DAY.com is one of the few publications that is accessible soley online with no hard copy version available. Targeting both Los Angeles residents and weekend visitors, the online magazine offers stylish magazine-style content centered around the elements that help make the LA lifestyle so unique, including art, food, entertainment, destinations, fashion and more.
"We are thrilled by the abounding success we have seen at LA2DAY.com. To better serve our readers, we have recently re-designed the website to include even more user-friendly features and informative content. Additionally, to appeal to an even broader audience, we are also in the planning stages of developing similar websites targeting other popular destinations around the world," says Verbeek of LA2DAY.com. The newly re-designed website of the LA lifestyle magazine, LA2DAY includes several upgraded features. The wider layout and white background are much friendlier on the eyes, creating an easier reading environment. For added convenience, the new LA2DAY.com offers enhanced dynamic navigation with tags, which gives readers the ability to easily mix and match columns, themes and budget range. This added functionality allows readers to generate precise results targeted to their specific criteria requests. To better meet the needs of its out-of-town readership, the re-designed LA2DAY.com also features a special travel section for additional travel tips. Along with the visible alterations to the website, LA2DAY.com's new versatile design also includes added back-end security features.
The growing success of LA2DAY.com has instigated Verbeek and his team to expand into other popular travel markets by early next year. Verbeek is currently developing a similar online resource, NY2DAY.com, which will offer lifestyle content on the dynamic destination of New York City. Additionally, through an affiliate partnership, the website RIVIERA2DAY.com will provide a unique perspective on life in the beautiful French Riviera.
Although Verbeek is involved exclusively in the online publication market, he still recognizes the importance of traditional media outlets. "Although we benefit as more and more readers rely on online resources such as LA2DAY.com, I personally think it is a shame that readership of offline print magazines is declining. There is so much talent available, and as a whole, we as media have a role to play in facilitating that talent and introducing them to the audience, not only through online, but also through print and TV media," Verbeek concluded.
About Tim Verbeek: Tim Verbeek (http://www.timverbeek.com) is the Founder and CEO of LA2DAY.com, a Los Angeles online magazine committed to highlighting the undiscovered gems of the city and surrounding area. Verbeek holds a Masters Degree in Marketing from The Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam.
