ProTec Process Technology Centre

ProTec Process Technology Centre

In the 50th anniversary year at the Neuenburg location in Germany, Romaco FrymaKoruma has invested in the setting up and equipping of the ProTec Process Technology Centre. Fifteen different process plants and mills, as well as the most modern machine equipment, are available to users for test purposes. The complex, with several conference rooms and an analytical laboratory provides sufficient space for carrying out scientific trials and customer projects. Using the plants, special recipes for liquid and semi-solid products are developed together with specialists from Romaco FrymaKoruma. In addition, ProTec sees itself as being an international forum for training and conferences.

Investment in the Process Technology Centre was accompanied by comprehensive renovation work at the Neuenburg site. Numerous new offices for the Sales and Marketing departments were constructed over an area of about 600 square metres. Romaco FrymaKoruma develops, produces and sells mills and process technology for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food and chemical industries. The company, with sites in Neuenburg (Germany) and Rheinfelden (Switzerland), came about through a merger of Koruma Maschinenbau GmbH and Fryma AG. Under the umbrella brand of Romaco FrymaKoruma, the international Romaco Group represents the Processing sector.

The Sales and Marketing departments and the ProTec Process Technology Centre are located at the Neuenburg site. Product management, production, general administration and customer service is in Rheinfelden. “In the eight years since the merger, we have particularly been able to draw potential from the symbiosis of the two sites,” explained Artur Sarnecki, Managing Director of Romaco FrymaKoruma. “This is a corporate strategy that we want to pursue further in the future.”
