Manipal University Alumni Meet 2008
Manipal University is organizing for the first time an Alumni Meet at the University level covering all the twenty constituent institutions including Mangalore and Bangalore campuses. The inaugural function will be held on the 19th of December 2008 at Chaitya Hall, Valley View International, Manipal at 6 pm. Dr Pitchaiah Mandava, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, USA will be the Chief Guest, Dr Vasanth Kumar, Registrar Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore has consented to be the Guest of Honour and Dr Ramdas M Pai, Chancellor, Manipal University will inaugurate the function by lighting the lamp. Dr H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor and Dr Rajasekharan P Warrier, Vice Chancellor, an alumnus (KMC-1963 Batch) will preside over the function.MIT – “Silver Union Day of 1978-83 Batch”
Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal is celebrating “Silver Union Day of 1978-83 Batch” on Saturday, 20th December 2008 at 5.30 pm, at MIT Open Air Quadrangle. Prof. J Karthikeyan, Vice Chairman, Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering & Technology, Chennai and Dr GK Prabhu, Registrar, Manipal University will be the Guests of Honor. The President of the function is Dr Rajasekharan P Warrier, Vice Chancellor, Manipal University.
MIT – “Alumni Reunion Day”
On Sunday, MIT Manipal will be celebrating, “Alumni Reunion Day” at 5.30 pm, at MIT Open Air Quadrangle. Mr. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, MP and President, FICCI will be the Chief Guest. Guests of Honor are Dr HS Ballal, Pro Chancellor, Manipal University and Prof J S Sathish Kumar, Vice President, Vinayaka Missions University, Salem, Tamil Nadu. Dr Ramdas M Pai, Chancellor, Manipal University will be the President of the function.
