With ErrorSpy Quality Suite, D.O.G. sets the tone once again

At the tcworld conference last November in Wiesbaden, D.O.G. Dokumentation ohne Grenzen GmbH presented the latest product of the ErrorSpy Family raising great interest among documentation specialists.

Quality assurance for translations is still a costly manual procedure, which in the case of extensive product literature usually shows great limitations. With ErrorSpy Quality Suite, D.O.G. now offers the tool for all crucial QA tasks: control, correction, evaluation, and rating of both translations and quality targets.

This new product, especially developed for companies with large documentation sets, is a considerable expansion of ErrorSpy - the first commercial QA software for translations. New features have been added to the existing automatic checks for terminology, numbers, typography, and consistency. ErrorSpy Quality Suite also performs automatic corrections and produces a wide range of reports. For the first time now documentation managers will be able to answer questions such as “How has the quality of my Russian translations developed in the past quarter?”, “What type of errors are most recurrent and why?”, or “Have the new measures of my contractor XYZ lead to quality improvements?” at the press of a button.

ErrorSpy Quality Suite can also be integrated into production workflows, thus allowing for automatic trigger of actions, such as notification to the relevant project managers. ErrorSpy Quality Suite is the further development of a software solution that has been successfully operating at Siemens‘s Erlangen plant since 2005.
