Oceânico Group Wins Gold in Prestigious Homes Overseas Awards
Oceânico Group’s Amendoeira Golf Resort, near Silves in the Algarve, has won Gold in the category of Best Golf Development at this year’s Homes Overseas Awards.The Homes Overseas Awards, which were announced at a ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London on 28th November, recognise the best overseas property developments from around the World, and are judged by a panel of national and international property experts.
A record number of entries were received for the Best Golf Development category, with Oceânico’s Amendoeira Golf Resort winning Gold for its quality of build, design and range of facilities, providing investors with an exceptional golfing experience.

Amendoeira Golf Resort is destined to be one of the finest golf resorts in Europe, with two championship courses - one designed by Nick Faldo and the other by Christy O’Connor Jnr - alongside a wealth of sporting and leisure amenities including the fully-equipped Amendoeira Golf Resort Academy, which boasts every practice facility for the amateur and tour professional alike and features a 9-hole par 3 floodlit course. The resort will also feature six championship standard tennis courts, a full size football pitch, two bowling greens, two five a side football pitches, plus children’s facilities and play areas.
Properties at the resort range from luxury four and five bedroom Prestige villas with private swimming pools, to three bedroom villas also with private swimming pools, and two and three bedroom apartments with a communal pool. Oceânico Prestige Residence Club is also available at the resort, offering eighth share ownership in a luxury three bedroom apartment, with prices from €115,000 per eighth share.
