RELDATA SIGNS DISTRIBUTION DEAL WITH SOURCE TO ENTER BENELUX STORAGE MARKET
Reldata unified IP SAN/NAS Storage Gateway appliances now available for Benelux resellersStuttgart – March 1, 2006 – Reldata, a leading supplier of enterprise-class unified iSCSI SAN/NAS storage gateway appliances, has closed a distribution agreement with Source, which is an industry-recognized specialist in storage products and one of Benelux largest storage-centric, value-added distributors. Source will distribute Reldata IP Storage Gateway appliances to Benelux storage resellers and solution providers.

The RELDATA IP Storage Gateway 9200 is a diskless multi-function data storage and protection management appliance. It enables open storage resource consolidation and virtualization, unified block-level (iSCSI) and file-level (NAS) storage provisioning, and data protection functionality. It allows administrators to consolidate and virtualize popular FC, SCSI, and iSCSI enabled backend disk or tape devices into one single storage volume pool. This pool can be accessed via incoming iSCSI and NFS/CIFS (NAS) protocols over Ethernet. The appliance also supports several integrated data protection features at no extra charge, enabling efficient and cost-effective backup and disaster recovery solutions.
