Microsoft Word Integration Solution Unveiled by MasterControl Inc.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT, USA – November 4, 2008 – MasterControl Inc. today announced the availability of its new MasterControl Microsoft Word Integration™ solution. A leading provider of GxP process management software solutions, MasterControl has developed the new software tool to allow users to search, access, review, and collaborate on critical documents within the familiar and universal Microsoft Word environment.

The Microsoft Word Integration product lets users work within Microsoft Word not only to create documents but to manage and collaborate on documents stored in MasterControl as well. The solution provides a MasterControl Documents™ add-on toolbar that can be uploaded to Microsoft Word 2007. Users can begin document revisions, collaborate on documents, and submit redlined files directly from the toolbar. The toolbar also makes it possible for users to create new MasterControl “InfoCards” in Word. Also, collaboration tasks lists are readily accessible from the MasterControl system.

MasterControl’s one-button “Document Compare” feature allows authors to see what has changed between two document revisions. The Document Compare feature helps companies save incalculable amounts of review time when “rogue documents” suddenly appear in e-mails or show up on a file share.
