In December 2016, Janssen Biotech, Inc. confirmed the submission of two Supplemental Biologics License Applications (sBLAs) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking approval of SIMPONI ARIA (golimumab) for the treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis as well as ankylosing spondylitis. SIMPONI ARIA is fully humanised anti-tumour necrosis factor alpha therapy.
