CSC SIGNS STRATEGIC IT AGREEMENT WITH VWR INTERNATIONAL, LLC
Agreement will Strengthen Asian Presence for Both CompaniesNew Delhi, October 23, 2008 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has signed a three-year information services agreement with VWR International, LLC.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide a variety of infrastructure support services to VWR’s operations in China, India and Singapore. The strategic relationship will enhance VWR’s team in the Asia-Pacific region, an area key to the growth of both companies.
“We are pleased that VWR has chosen CSC to support their business operations,” said Andrew Anker, vice president of CSC’s Asia Global Outsourcing Services line of business. “Asia is a key growth market for CSC and we are uniquely positioned to effectively integrate local and global capabilities to help VWR’s business in this region.”
With its strategic growth program, CSC is particularly focused on expanding its footprint in Asia.
