BlueStar to Distribute Motorola in Latin America

“BlueStar began its relationship with Motorola in Canada, expanded into U.S. distribution, and now completes the Americas with the addition of Latin America. The addition of Motorola to our BlueStar Latin America product mix makes BlueStar a stronger Value-Added Distributor,” says Bill Nix, BlueStar’s Director of Global Channel Marketing and Sales.
BlueStar Latin America has acquired additional staff to ensure support for the initiative in the region, including: Susana Fonseca, BlueStar Business Development Manager for Colombia, Ricardo Pineda, Business Development Manager for Peru, and Alicia Booth, Marketing Assistant. In addition, two new Account Executives have come on-board—Jonathan Abad and Fernando Contreras, along with two staff in Sales Support—Cristian Rojas and Alexis Araneda.
“BlueStar Latin America is excited about our newly formed partnership with Motorola’s Mobility and Scanning Division. We expect that BlueStar’s unique solutions-based distribution model will create growth in vertical channels for our current resellers in Latin America. We are currently adding ISVs with profit-building solutions in Spanish language sets, which, when combined with Motorola’s broad range of hardware offerings, will create higher margins for our resellers and incremental growth for Motorola,” affirmed Steve Cuntz, BlueStar President and CEO.
