HOLA TO MADRID AS FAMOUS PACIFIC SHIPPING COMES TO TOWN

Famous Pacific Shipping, the fast-expanding Asia-based NVOCC and freight services provider, is holding its Annual General Meeting and Conference in Europe for the first time in Madrid, Spain between 26th and 29th October 2008.

Commenting on this break with tradition, Iskandar Zulkarnain, chairman of the FPS Group’s Executive Committee, said: “Our AGM and conference is being taken to Madrid at the invitation of the ITS Group, our partner in Spain. The decision to hold such an important meeting in Europe reflects the continent’s vital importance to the members of the FPS network across the globe.

The four-day event will provide attendees from around the world with an agenda of meetings, forums, one-to-one networking and social events. It gives members a great opportunity to plan and shape the future growth of the Famous Pacific Shipping group, in regards to network expansion and service development.

Adds Mr Zulkarnain: “The key to the success of an event like this is the opportunities it gives attendees to hear senior FPS executives report on the general performance of the group. Add to that the chance to meet fellow member companies from around the world over a tapas and you have the recipe for a successful event.”

It is anticipated that over 150 executives, representing group partners from around the world, will attend the conference.

Famous Pacific Shipping’s global network now includes 43 individual companies from 22 different nations worldwide, working together under the FPS banner.
