The Ecology Center Celebrates Fall in Full Swing
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA – To kickoff the fall harvest season, The Ecology Center at South Coast Farms will host a free, local family event on Saturday, October 18th from noon to 3 p.m. The Ecology Center encourages families, friends and neighbors to stop by and tour the brand new eco-educational center for a sneak preview of the highly anticipated programs, demonstrations, opportunities and exhibits expected to make its debut during the coming year.Founder Evan Marks and The Ecology Center volunteers are coordinating a special afternoon filled with eco-educational, hands-on activities that will get the entire family involved. In addition to building environmental awareness, The Ecology Center will light up its on-site earthen oven and serve earth-baked pizza using mother nature’s finest organic ingredients.
“Our sponsored Earth Oven Pizza Party is an excellent opportunity for local families to get a taste of what The Ecology Center is all about,” explained Marks. “Promoting easy and practical ‘green’ solutions will hopefully inspire families to get more involved in reducing their carbon footprints and building a more sustainable ecological community.”

Centrally located in the suburb of San Juan Capistrano, The Ecology Center at South Coast Farms is an upcoming venture conceived by founder Evan Marks as a hub of possibility for both the people and environment of Southern California. With the support of local volunteers, the nonprofit organization is currently underway in developing a unique and poignant eco-conscious learning facility. Located in San Juan Capistrano, The Ecology Center seeks to inspire and involve people in the stewardship of Southern California’s environment, providing education in sustainable agriculture, ecological design and the heritage of San Juan Capistrano.
