The Intellectual Property practice of Cash Klemchuk Powers Taylor, LLP (CKPT) proudly presents a CLE opportunity in conjunction with the Computer Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Attorney Darin M. Klemchuk will be presenting “Updates on cybersquatting, domain name disputes, and trademark infringement over the Internet” on Monday, October 27 at 12:00 P.M. at the Belo Mansion.

Covering a variety of issues legal issues with regard to the Internet and eCommerce, the presentation will be geared towards attorneys currently practicing within companies and corporations. “To say, ‘the Internet is a highly competitive market.’ is an understatement,” noted Mr. Klemchuk. “With the continuous evolution of the Internet laws, businesses in all categories need to be aware of the possible legal pitfalls. Whether you’re an online retailer, or a service provider, protecting your Internet business practices is the best offense against messy litigation.”

Attorneys attending the presentation will be eligible to receive an hour of CLE credit from the Texas State Bar. Registration information is available online at www.dallasbar.org and www.ckptip.com.

Darin M. Klemchuk, an intellectual property trial lawyer, focuses his practice on patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret and other intellectual property litigation and enforcement. In addition, Mr. Klemchuk has extensive experience representing clients in commercial and business disputes, particularly software development, trade-secret, and non-compete disputes.
