When De Joode saw the vacancy of Security Officer at LeaseWeb, he responded immediately. ‘The international working environment at LeaseWeb appealed to me particularly,’ says De Joode. ‘LeaseWeb is growing fast worldwide, so chances are that I can do something for LeaseWeb in the field of hosting outside of Amsterdam one day.’

De Joode: ‘I am familiar with UNIX, Linux, Open BSD, network and system management, for instance, and I studied law at the University of Amsterdam. Obviously, I am particularly interested in the interface between technology and law and I expect to be able to indulge in this extensively at LeaseWeb.’

Internet Industry Jobs
Before joining LeaseWeb Alex De Joode worked as a Senior Systems Administrator with Proteon VIS, a web developer from Delft.
