Columbus, Ohio, May 18, 2017– Cross My Heart, Ltd. will feature “Doug Kreinik’s Metallic and Silk Mystery Tour”, on June 12th at 7 PM.

Doug owner of Kreinik Mfg. Co.,Inc. has been a featured guest on PBS’s Shay Pendray’s Needle Art Studio, and has written for Pieceworks and other publications.

Doug will share with us the history of his company and in his discussion, will encourage displacing mystery with adventure when working with his silk and metallic threads. You will be able to tacitly experience hundreds of samples of contemporary needlepoint, cross-stitch, hand and machine embroidery, quilting , tatting , knitting, weaving, crochet, card making and exciting embellishment ideas all using Kreinik threads.

The price of the two and a half hour talk includes a “stash” of reels or skeins of each type of silk and metallic thread manufactured by Kreinik.
Come join us for a unique entertaining experience and lively discussion from the manufacturer’s point of view and learn how thread can enhance the senses, rest the soul and relax the heart.

Kreinik Mfg. was founded in Parkersburg, WV in 1971 by Doug’s parents, Estelle and Jerry Kreinik. Kreinik Mfg. for years has been recognized worldwide as a supplier of fine quality silk and metallic threads for all sorts of hand and machine work. Kreinik supplies fine threads to retail shops, designers, fashion houses, manufacturers, museums, fly tyers and libraries.

Cross My Heart is a full featured local needlework shop specializing in counted cross stitch, counted thread, and punchneedle embroidery. We carry evenweave fabric as well as aida and other linens, full lines of many threads, offer classes in beginning and advanced needlework techniques, and cary a wide variety of cross stitch patterns from primitive to whimsical designers.
