Compliance in Healthcare Technology at SGS’s Second Annual Compliance Symposium for E&E
SGS has announced a list of impressive guest speakers and informative sessions for its 2017 Compliance Symposium in Georgia, USA. Entitled ‘Building Trust and Improving Lives’, this second annual symposium takes place on June 6, 2017, at the Busbee Center at Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville, GA.The symposium will focus on recent changes in compliance regulations for innovations and advances in healthcare technology. The day will include technical presentations on compliance in the areas of:
• ISO 14971 Risk Management Process
• IEC 60601 Risk Management File Requirements
• Common Problems with Risk Management Medical Device Files
• Managing Restricted Substances: Best Practices for the Medical Industry
• Integration of IoT in Device Design
• Future of Mobile to Mobile (M2M) Communication
• Radio Equipment Directive (RED) and its Essential Requirements
The day will include guest speakers from industry partners, Siemens and Rohde & Schwarz. Kevin Johnson, Director of EHS at Siemens, will offer delegates insights into “Managing Restricted Substances in the Medical Device Industry”, and Ralf Flor, Applications Engineer at Rohde & Schwarz, will give a presentation on “Design Testing of IoT Devices”.
In addition, delegates will visit SGS's state-of-the-art Electrical and Electronics (E&E) testing facility for a specialized tour and testing demonstrations, looking at:
