Per capita GDP was estimated at USD 12315.65 whereas purchasing power parity (PPP) based per capita GDP was estimated to be at USD 1054.13.

In 2016, Poland government’s revenue was PLN 725.419 billions whereas the expenditure was PLN 770.362 billions. This resulted Poland government’s net lending / borrowing negative at PLN 44.943 billion in 2016 indicating that enough financial resources were not made available by the government to boost economic growth.

The current account balance for Poland was estimated to be negative at USD 1.395 billions for the year 2016 and is expected to decrease at a CAGR of 28.71% and the current account deficit will reach USD 17.56 by 2022. This negative current account deficit indicates that Poland is net borrowing will increase in future.
