Within five days of its launch, the ‘Help Bihar’ (helpbihar.in) campaign achieved an overwhelming response and support. Executed for resource mobilization campaign for Plan India with concept and design by Quasar media, this innovative promotion is the most successful viral campaign in the history of Digital Marketing in India.

Launched on 12th September, the viral, which started with just 20 people, has been forwarded to more than 10 lakh people. In last 48 hours the viral has been played by more than 100000 unique individuals with overall unique engagements reaching 2, 25000. The figure keeps rising with close to 1500 people playing the game each hour.

The brief, according to Jitin Narang was to look at a fresh idea to reach maximum number of potential donors for flood affected Bihar victims in the most economical way. Quasar media (www.quasar.co.in) conceptualized the particular idea in an innovative way as a viral. The viral shows how one can contribute or donate without actually spending anything or being physically present by spending 60 seconds of one’s times. All one have to do is to answer some simple questions. For each correct answer, partnering sponsors (Godrej, Chevrolet, Cadence, etc) will donate a biscuit, candle, tarpaulin, or soap to the NGO on your behalf.
