"READY TO DIE" Principal Photography commences in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, CA, September 2 2008 - From the producers of "The Spotlight", writer-director-producer John Azpilicueta, of JAGQA Productions, is helming the action-thriller, "Ready To Die"(RTD) once again teams up with Warren Duenas, producer, O27 Entertainment.

In production, RTD commenced filming on June 13, 2008 and due to wrap on November 27, 2008. Development of the story introduces Ted Grau as co-writer of the screenplay. Casting reunites fellow members from "The Neighborhood" actor Pablo Hernandez and exe.producer/actor Jacob Martinez, new to the mix are music writer turned actor Bless May and rounding out the cast in a pivotal role is the director himself, John Azpilicueta. Production crews includes cinematographer, Mariano Llosa, Line Producer/2nd unit DP Miguel Galindo with additional cinematography by Robert Fernandez and Chia-Yu Chen, make-up and special effects by Ruth Martinez.

Pursued by the cops, local gang members and the sins of their collective past, three Latino bank robbers try to stay alive and stay together while making their way through a diverse, East Los Angeles neighborhood with a blood-stained bag of money, ultimately finding solace, wisdom, and salvation in the most unlikely of places.

JAGQA Productions is an independent producer of theatrical motion pictures. Its ventures licenses films to ancillary markets including cable and broadcast television as well as international venues.
