Ventura Based Indie Artist Delaney Gibson Announces the Release of her Debut Album “The Worst Kind of Way”

AGOURA HILLS, CA (August 27, 2008) —Hailing from Ventura, California, local indie artist Delaney Gibson has announced September 19, 2008 as the date for her debut release “The Worst Kind of Way” album release show. Gibson will be performing at 7:30 P.M. at Zoey’s Café in Ventura, CA. With the perfect fusion of folk, alternative, and pop sounds, Delaney has become known for her remarkable and rare voice, signature acoustic rhythmic piano and intricate melodies. After her debut six-song EP in 2007 entitled “Cruel and Beautiful,” Delaney was received with open arms into the music industry, quickly earning the respect of fellow musicians across the world as she toured through Europe, while performing with many notable artists including: Barbara Streisand, Barry Manilow, and the legendary Andrea Bocelli.

Now, after having a taste of success with her first EP, Delaney headed back to the studio to record her first, full length album “The Worst Kind of Way.” With a style all her own, and with honesty, allure and grace behind her music, Delaney’s originality in each song and her music’s ability to transcend genres is a rare gem to find in today’s music scene.

“The Worst Kind of Way” will be officially released on September 19, 2008.
