New York and Connecticut Appearances of Author at Borders Books
John Benjamin Sciarra will be appearing at Borders in the following locations: December 10th in Poughkeepsie, New York; December 17th in Simsbury, Connecticut and January 21st in Fairfield, Connecticut. “Shoestrings,” the first of a series of children’s novels has been received enthusiastically by children, parents and teachers.Nina Grigoreas, a former middle and high school-level teacher in the Canterbury and Woodstock, CT school systems, says of “Shoestrings—No Time For Dinosaurs,” “I was struck by your ability to capture the thoughts and feelings of the young adolescent characters and make them spring to life on the printed page.
