Marshall & Stevens Hires an Executive Managing Director

S. Douglas Pugliese Joins Firm

New York, N.Y., August 18, 2008 – Marshall & Stevens is pleased to announce that S. Douglas Pugliese has joined the firm as Executive Managing Director responsible for management of the Firm's Eastern US operations. Mr. Pugliese brings 12 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Mr. Pugliese joins Marshall & Stevens from Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he was a managing director and worked as an investment banker providing mergers, acquisition, debt and equity capital raising advice to a wide range of corporate and financial sponsor clients. Mr. Pugliese spent more than six years in Bear Stearns’ New York City offices and over five years in its London offices during his career. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr. Pugliese was an officer and pilot in the United States Navy, where he served more than 6 years.

Mr. Pugliese works in Marshall & Stevens’ New York and Philadelphia offices. Mr. Pugliese received his bachelor’s degree in Economics and Spanish Literature (with honors) from the University of Pennsylvania and was a Dean’s Scholar at New York University’s Stern School of Business, earning his MBA in 1996.
