TestSeek launches Expert Advice Shopping Comparison site for UK shoppers
Expert reviews at testseek.co.uk
Testseek .co.uk is a new type of shopping comparison engine, with a primary focus on informing consumers on the quality of products. This is done by aggregating all expert reviews and calculating an average mark for each product. The expert reviews are aggregated from carefully chosen expert review sources from all over the world. For the time being, testseek .co.uk collects expert reviews from more than 1200 sources. Normal price comparison is also a part of the testseek .co.uk service.
“Finally British consumers can find information about the quality of products and best prices at one site”, says Fredrik Engdahl, one of the founders and the CEO of TestSeek which is also available in the US, Canada, France and Scandinavia. “We have spent more than three years to develop a technology which enables us to cut through all the nonsense spam that consumers normally will find on the Internet when using regular search engines to research products and look for expert reviews. At testseek .co.uk we only publish the really useful content like; Good, Bad, Bottomline textual snippets from the reviews. But also all product marks, all editorial awards, all product images and other user’s opinions”, he adds.
For the time being, the testseek .co.uk database holds about 70.000 products sorted into more than 200 categories. The price comparison part of testseek .co.uk is realized through a partnership with Pricerunner .co.uk.
"Our goal is to create the ultimate shopping comparison engine. We want to inform consumers about everything that could be of value to them.", says Engdahl.
