17 April 2017: A kickstarter.com campaign started by Chris Evans is up and online- looking for backers to the Project. The Campaign runs with the slogan of “giving the world a better backer for their pins” and is in the market to promote the concept of magnetically locking pin backers.

Pin Jams is an quite an amazing, fun and fundamentally creative way to display a pin collection on anything magnetic, whilst at the same time- having the option to use them as a locking backer for a jacket, hat, bag or anything of the sort.

Conventionally, pins have only been used on clothing, bags, cork bulletin boards and anything where a person would be willing to punch a permanent hole. Chris Evan’s project however, has brought forward a solution to the prevailing problem and fixes that problem by providing Pin Jams’ users with a heavy duty locking backer with a set screw and a very strong rare earth magnet that will hold over 10 oz. of weight!

According to Chris Evans, the man behind the project:

“By backing this project you help PinJams become a reality! I am working on packaging, branding and sticker designs too. Each pack of PinJams will come with 5 Pin Jams, 2 allen wrenches, an instruction sheet and a sticker.”

Chris has already gone through a few different versions before came up with this prototype. He had wanted to go with cork but after 3-4 uses, it became useless so he went back to the drawing board and came up with an even better solution to the problem. The creator of Pin Jams is very confident that this is going to be the best upgrade his customers can buy for their enamel pin collection!

There are multiple offers for all those willing to back the project and most of the backing options come with various rewards!

For instance, pledging $500 or more, which is labelled the PinJams Gold Wholesaler Early Bird, will bring a backer 50 packages of pin jams ready for resale (5 per package if you're a reseller). PinJams will retail for $15 per 5 pack.

Similarly, pledging $250 or more to the project, known as the PinJams Silver Wholesaler Early Bird, will bring a backer 25 packages of pin jams ready for resale (5 per package). PinJams will This further includes 25 Silver Wholesaler packages.

The amazing initiative is still looking for backers and is open to people willing to contribute between $1 till whatever amount can help Chris achieve his goal of $4000.
