Greenjobs .co.uk will target the United Kingdom specifically and follows the successful launch of greenjobs.ie into the Irish marketplace a few months ago, which already drives significant traffic.
To celebrate the advent of greenjobs .co.uk, employers can test-drive the site by registering online and posting their job vacancies free for six weeks.
Job seekers can sign up for free, upload their CV online and look for job in a variety of employment categories that include biomass, chemical engineering, climate change, corporate social responsibility, ecology, renewable energy, environment, sustainability, tidal, waste, water, wave, wind and many more.
"Candidates are looking for simplicity and employers are looking to reduce costs..." says GreenJob Ltd. Commercial Director, Andrew Molony.
The site is the first of its kind to house only 'green' jobs and aims to simplify the process of both job posting and job hunting in a market full of untargeted and sometimes confusing jobs boards.
GreenJobs Ltd will donate 10% of all advertising spend towards funding corporate social responsibility initiatives within the environmental sector.
