Interactive Networks Announced A New Version Of Its IM Application For Financial Institutions

Interactive Networks Inc. introduced a new version for it secure and compliant instant messaging product for financial institutions. Its web-based, PC and mobile clients were developed to provide companies with security, management and regulatory compliance. This includes authenticating, encrypting and logging IM communication to comply with rules.

In this way, Interactive Networks Inc. provides IM threat risk protection through an appropriate solution for banks, brokers, dealers and mutual funds. Following NASDAQ, SOX, SEC & NYSE regulations, all messages are encrypted for total security and can be stored using a centralized message archiving for auditing and monitoring. Besides, through a web based administration console, managers have a fully control of the IM network; they can define different roles, check statistics and enable or disable features. Finally, managers can prevent their employees from running public IMs (MSN ®, Gtalk®, AOL®, ICQ® & Yahoo®) and control who is allowed to communicate with them.

The company offers both a server and a hosted (ASP) model and four editions with different sets of features to adapt to the needs and budget of each financial institution. Moreover, from its website 30-day free trial can be downloaded. Pricing starts at $595 for 100-user Standard Edition Server or $1.25 per month per user for a Hosted Standard Edition solution.
