Inkfruit, India's only democratic t-shirt community brand will be having an exhibition

India, Republic of (Press Release) August 10, 2008 -- Inkfruit is a web community of designers and t-shirt lovers. The platform is unique in India, in the sense that it allows its members to decide on the final t-shirt designs manufactured. Such a degree of involving the customer into the design process has previously not been tried in the country.

Inkfruit, whose customer base is comprised of largely by students and youth across the country, will be hosting an exhibition of all of its great t-shirt designs at Malhar.

Malhar is a college event organized by St. Xaviers College at Bombay. It is one of the largest gatherings of students in the country and Inkfruit looks at this occasion to display the work of its member designers at this venue.

This is a call to all interested designers and t-shirt lovers - if you are around, please do come over to meet us.

Inkfruit is a place for people to submit, discover and buy amazing custom t-shirt designs created by artists from around the world. Based around an ongoing t-shirt design contest, all of the designs you see on Inkfruit have been submitted by our community. Headquartered in Bombay, India, Inkfruit (then called Gnome) officially launched in early December 2007.

All of us at Inkfruit are nutty about two things.

The first is to give you the best designs and the best quality tees! We have started offering our t-shirts only online. Cutting out the high street saves you money and lets us make better products. A few clicks and they're on their way to you.

The second is to empower designers across the world to give an output to their genius through our website! We have seen loads of great designers not being able to do much about their creations. Inkfruit provides them with a platform where great designs are recognized and rewarded. How do we do that? Easy, because it's you who makes all the choices. Think a tee is mindblowing!? Rate it and if plenty of you say the same then, hey mr. design god ... you just made it to the Inkfruit Hall of Fame (read prizes and rokda, moolah, paisa, cash, etc.)!

As we grow, we will include other wonderful things for you, but we will always remember that quality of designs rule! I mean at the end of everything we just wana make your favourite tees ... which you just don't wana throw away even when they are all old and worn out! :P
