Bullfrogs, Bugs & Butterflies, A Child Enrichment Center, Opening August 11 in Crete, NE

Bullfrogs, Bugs & Butterflies, a Child Enrichment Center, is opening its doors August 11, 2008, in Crete Nebraska. The center focuses on helping children with special needs meet their potential in a warm, non-institutional environment.

The daily routine is structured so the children are actively engaged throughout the day in their choice of four out of six specialized centers which are offered twice a day. The centers include: Computer Corner, Recess and Safety, Reading Room and Language Skills, Learning Land Academics, Sensory Discovery Zones (includes Greenhouse, manipulatives, sensory wall, and prism light), and Creative Arts and Tasty Treats (includes cooking, ceramics, wood projects, suncatcher, painting, and other crafts). Each center has its own color and shape associated with it which aids in learning and retention and allows non-verbal children to communicate their choices.
