Experienced software developer has consulted for ESPN, Bayer, more

West Hartford, Conn., July 22, 2008: The QUEMAC creative partnership is happy to announce that software developer Henry Liss, owner of HJL Information Technology, has joined their marketing services group.

Liss has turned his lifelong fascination with computers into a career that involves consulting and developing software solutions for some of Connecticut’s most prominent companies including Aetna, ESPN, Spear Technologies, and Bayer. He founded the company HJL Information Technology approximately one year ago, and offers customized software packages to businesses of all sizes.

According to Liss, his interest in computers began at the age of 12 when he taught himself computer programming. He has studied electronics and computer science both formally and informally ever since, taking regular technical classes and seminars to keep his skills up-to-date.

“Henry brings an important skill to QUEMAC,” said Brigitte DiBenedetto, one of QUEMAC’s founding partners. “He can program websites to do specifically what our clients need them to do, even if that involves creating a completely customized solution.”

A native of East Hartford, Liss now resides in Windsor, Connecticut. In addition to running HJL Techonology, he serves as a volunteer firefighter for the town of Windsor where he recently received a Public Service Award from the Secretary of the State’s office for his efforts.
