Asheville, NC Computer School Opens to Teach Adult Students Basic Computer Skills

This summer, Asheville’s newest computer school, Data Solutions Plus, opens its doors to students of diverse ages and skill sets. Data Solutions Plus specializes in a wide range of business-user, home-user and small-business oriented computer classes teaching programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Publisher, Windows Vista and XP. Most classes are currently available as Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 courses to suit both beginner and advanced students. Data Solutions Plus will also be offering general classes on topics such as Computer Basics, Intro to Internet and Email, Marketing Your Small Business Using Your PC, Preventative Computer Maintenance and Creating a Corporate Image.

Located in a beautifully remodeled 1920 home at 301 West Haywood Street downtown, each computer class is limited to four students to ensure high quality, individualized attention for the duration of the class. Data Solutions Plus is currently offering Summer Opening Specials, which include summer discounts. Discounted prices can go as low as $170 for full-day classes and $85 for half-day classes. In addition, summer students can receive a “Buy 1 Class, Get 1 Class Half Off” discount. This savings can be passed along to family members, friends or business colleagues.

Data Solutions Plus also offers one-on-one computer tutoring for managers and executives at the school or on site in a home or office environment. Tutoring includes training in efficiency, email, spreadsheet processing, letter creation, file organization, database maintenance and more. Data Solutions Plus is owned by Erin Doyle, an expert in computer systems design, development, training and support with more than 25 years experience in the field of office administration, organization and management, as well as database creation. Doyle is a computer database specialist with a focus on the design and customization of databases to improve efficiency, productivity and work flow. Other Data Solutions Plus instructors bring experience in business administration, database design, web design, Quickbooks, Excel, computer support and installation and much more.
