Press release from: Itransition Software

Minsk, Belarus – July, 10, 2008 – Sergey Gvardeitsev, CEO of ITransion awarded “Man of Business” prize in the nomination «for establishing an enterprise showing an example of the transition to innovative track of development”.

The “Man of Business” contest is held in Minsk annually with the purpose of revealing twelve most successful top-managers. The decision is based on the business activity of the enterprises that they head. This year’s contest was marked by the equal number of participants representing state-owned and private companies.

Being a lecturer at the State University in the past, Sergey Gvardeitsev knows that “it is talented and motivated people who build up the main production potential of the company”. According to Mr. Gvardeitsev, such staffing policy has brought ITransition onto its innovative and highly perspective track of development. “From the very beginning, we staked on talented people and passionate professionals. There are quite a few of them, one or two per thousand. It is exactly involvement of professionals in business, which makes our business grow”, said Mr. Gvardeitsev.

“Like the majority of other Belarusian IT companies, ITransition started with providing software development outsourcing services. However, now, the company has reached a new level, when it is successfully working on large development projects, which require top-notch work and closer cooperation with the customer”, Gvardeitsev added.

According to Director of Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Petr Nikitenko, Belarus sees significant growth in professionalism of top managers of both state-owned and private enterprises.
